While I'm still several months away from resuming regular posting, I thought it would be nice to post updates on the Devil's Workshop 20th Anniversary releases that have (and will) be coming out in 2016...

The first 20th anniversary release of the year is a one-off Crypt Keeper. The Crypt Keeper was originally released back in 1997 as "The Keeper" and was the first official replica collector series mask produced by the Devil's Workshop and was limited to 18 copies.

This was the Crypt Keeper copy released this past January.
The finishes of the Keeper varied as the run went on. This is how the mask was finished near the end of the run...

Compared to how the first copies looked...

Here is a scan of the original mail-order flyer featuring the Crypt Keeper from the 1997 Devil's Workshop catalog...

The ol' bag of bones made an appearance in David Lady's Guide to Monster Masks...

Here is another shot of the Keeper along with the other collector series replicas that the Devil's Workshop was offering around 2000-2001...

With the February release already in the books, expect another post here covering the history of that mask  sometime soon. And keep your eyes on the Devil's Workshop Instagram page for the March release coming up soon...
